Violeta Huesman

Director of Student Services and Graduate Placement @ Keiser University

Violeta Huesman is the Director of Student Services and Graduate Placement at Keiser University, with responsibilities to actively recruit for potential employment opportunities, and build relationships with employers and community leaders to enhance graduate’s opportunities for success. Prior to joining Keiser University, Violeta worked in the banking industry as Private Banking Officer at US Bank overseeing all areas of relationship management of high net worth individuals. In addition to serving on Tidewell’s Board, Violeta is also serving on the board of The Lakewood Ranch Alliance, CareerSource Suncoast, Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation, on the Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, a current Goodwill Manasota Ambassador and is a member of Lakewood Ranch Community Fund -Giving Circle.

Violeta is a Co-Chair of the Programing Committee with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and a Graduate from the Leadership Sarasota County class of 2013. She is a past member of the education committee with The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, past host for the LunchwithLeaders Group, past advisory council member for First Federal Bank of Florida, past mentor with Take Stock in Children, was a Sun Coast Technology Forum Board Member in 2011-2012 and Vice Chair with the American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 2012. She received the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance 2013 and 2014 Sandies Award, 2012 Chairman’s Award, for best exemplifying dedication and commitment to enhance the Alliance and business community. A 2014 winner of numerous awards for most employer outreach and community partners relationship building, building tomorrow’s leaders; winner of the 212 degree award for 2010 and 2012 for leading with values and achieving excellence through commitment and passion.

Violeta and her husband of 25 years, Mark, are the parents of Ashley, an RN at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Thomas, attending Manatee Technical College and Jacob a freshman at AppState University in Boone, NC.
